The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce Small Business of the Year is a rigorous and detailed awards process. Companies throughout the Tampa Bay Area are evaluated across a set of 5 operational criteria including business ethics, management, innovation, leadership and community involvement. This year is the 39th year for the presentation of the award. The Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business of the Year (SBOY) Awards annually pays tribute to businesses with fewer than 250 employees. The Small Business of the Year winner will be selected on September 12, 2019, in front of a live audience of more than 600 attendees at the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts.
