Jonathan Aller

Full-Stack Developer

Jonathan (J.) Aller grew up in Mechanicsburg, PA (near Harrisburg, the capital). In High School he was the stereotypical Library Aide and A.V. Club nerd. He developed his first website for the township he lived in as an independent study program in 1996. The website and an article about him was published in the capital’s newspaper. It was the first of its kind for any Township in Pennsylvania.

Aside from A.V. Club and web design, he also had a passion for teaching. He attended Clearwater Christian College, in the Tampa Bay region, dual majoring in Elementary Education/Special Education. The original plan was to become a teacher, although his dislike for the public school system in Florida pushed him away from that career path and back into the tech industry.

With over 25 years of experience at various companies as in-house developer, Jonathan joined the Bake More Pies Web Development team in August of 2023 as the Full-Stack Developer. In this role, he is able to jump into any aspect of a development project to lend a hand.

In his spare time he enjoys tinking with 3D Printing, and playing with his short haired red dachshound, ‘Cooper.’

Favorite Pie: Pineapple and Jalapeño

Fun Fact: Earned the rank of Eagle Scout at age 15.
